Equality information is available as eNotes

The TUC has launched an Equality Act 2010 eNote – an online e-learning module to provide key information about the legislation for union reps.

Launched at last month’s Black Workers’ conference, it is one of a new suite of eNotes that includes interviews, reviews of important aspects of the legislation and advice and guidance. It presents vital information on topics such as the Sick Note and Additional Paternity Leave.

It has been developed by TUC Education, using specialist policy officers.

Speaking at the conference, TUC trade union education manager Liz Rees said: “With eNotes, we can disseminate vital knowledge about equality issues and the Equality Act 2010 to anyone who can get online. eNotes have the potential to revolutionise learning, bringing education to people at their fingertips — on their smartphones, laptops, tablets, or desk tops.”

E-notes can be found at: www.unionlearn.org.uk/index.cfm/raot/.
