British Airways voluntary deal

Some 2,000 British Airways cabin crew operating out of Heathrow airport will benefit from a major new voluntary recognition deal between the company and Unite. The agreement, covering a mixed fleet of European and worldwide crew, will cover pay, holidays and hours of work.

Unite general secretary Len McCluskey said: “Cabin crew have already seen the benefits of the recognition deal including a substantial increase in holiday pay entitlement.

“It’s no surprise that the union has already recruited over half of the mixed fleet cabin crew.”
