CWU mental wellbeing initiative at BT

The CWU communications workers’ union has announced a partnership with one of the largest employers of its members, BT.

BT’s annual Workfit programme — re-launched in a new website under the banner of “Fit for Life” — will focus particularly on mental wellbeing and feature jointly branded publicity from the CWU, the Samaritans charity, BT and sister union Prospect.

CWU national officer Simon Sapper said: “It is really important that our people know that non-judgmental support is available for them 24/7.”
