Settlement in Austria’s health and social care

An agreement for more than 100,000 employees in Austria’s health and social care system has produced a 2.03% increase from 1 February. This is double the current rate of inflation which is 1.0% (December 2014).

The agreement introduces a common scale for manual and non-manual employees for the first time and it also ensure that there are no minimum rates below €1,500 a month.

The euro was worth 76p on 20 January
