Working in confined spaces
The HSE has published a revised Approved Code of Practice (ACOP) and guidance for those involved in work within confined spaces.
Both ACOP and guidance will be useful for those who employ, train and represent those workers covered by the Confined Spaces Regulations 1997.
A new flowchart is provided to help the decision-making process, and there are extra examples covering workplace risks such as specifically created hypoxic environments and fire suppression systems.
