Personal attack alarms receive thumbs up

CWU communications union members have welcomed a “landmark” agreement to provide personal attack alarms to postal delivery workers. CWU national health and safety officer Dave Joyce secured the agreement following some 450 reported attacks on postal members over the last three years. CWU NEC women’s lead Angela Whitter said “we need to make sure the personal alarms arrive soon and let’s get them out there”.
