Unions and employers agree teleworking deal

The European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC) and the European employers' associations signed an agreement on teleworking earlier this month. It covers issues such as privacy, the voluntary nature of telework, employers' responsibility for equipment and teleworkers having the same rights as employees at the employer's premises. The agreement is to be implemented by the national member organisations - the TUC and the CBI in the UK.
