Manual handling

This report presents the outcome of an exercise carried out to establish principles for manual handling training, both for conventional (two-handed, symmetrical) lifting and for non-standard lifting, where the conventional technique is inapplicable. It provides practical guidance for situations where conventional lifting is not possible and supplements guidance to the Manual Handling Regulations 1992.
