Family-friendly working

The Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC) is appealing to union reps and workers to let the commission know about their experience of family friendly working rights.

The new employment rights for employees to request to vary their hours of work will be one year old in April. The EOC is running a confidential feedback form on its website, and says: "As a union representative or someone who may have asked for family friendly working, the EOC wants to hear about your experience of the new rights in your workplace."

The form can be accessed at www.eoc.org.uk/cseng/help/familyfriendly.asp
