Bus driver fights for toilets

A former bus driver whose health was ruined by the lack of toilets on routes is launching legal action against bus company First Bus.

Arthur Martin had to undergo surgery to remove half his prostate. Doctors told him the problem had been caused by being unable to go to the toilet for long periods.

Martin was a bus driver for 14 years but resigned after the problem got so bad he wet himself at work. He is taking the company to the European Court of Human Rights to get them to install toilets on their routes.
