Reps' course goes online

An updated version of the TUC's Union Learning Representative (ULR) course is now available as both a five-day "classroom" programme and a 30-hour online course.

The online course is spread over 12 weeks, and is fully equivalent to the face-to-face version. Group activities take place via an online bulletin board so that users can log in and participate when it suits them. A tutor can offer support via e-mail and telephone if required.

The TUC has revised the programme following extensive consultation with learning reps, taking recent developments in the role into account.
