Employers are still failing on bullying

Anti-bullying policies are failing to work and employers must take action to stop bullying, according to a new guide from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).

Tackling bullying at work found that 83% of employers have an anti-bullying policy in place - but bullying is still rife.

The CIPD's Imogen Haslam said: "There is a very fine line between firm management styles and bullying, and often bullies are unaware of the negative impact their actions may have."
