Chemicals website

SUBSPORT is an online database aimed at organisations which currently use hazardous chemicals.

As well as containing information on products that can be used as alternatives to hazardous chemicals, SUBSPORT provides case studies designed to encourage organisations to think about the issue.

The website is intended to support companies in fulfilling substitution requirements of EU legislation, such as those specified under the REACH authorisation procedure on chemicals, the Water Framework Directive or the Chemical Agents Directive. It is hoped that other stakeholders, such as environmental and consumer organisations as well as scientific institutions, will benefit from the portal.
