UNISON 
election hearing


The certification officer is to hold another hearing this month in relation to the complaints about the 2015 general secretary election in public services union UNISON.


The case is the consolidation of four separate complaints from members that UNISON breached its own rules as well as statutory balloting procedures during the election which was won by Dave Prentis. 


Those bringing the complaints include the three rival candidates in that election plus a member of the union’s national executive committee.
