PCS members ballot for leader
Balloting is under way in the PCS public and commercial services union’s leadership election, with incumbent Mark Serwotka under challenge from two other candidates.
Both challengers say they will not take the full salary allotted to the post. One is lay member Bev Laidlaw, who works in a Sheffield Jobcentre. The other, Marion Lloyd, is president of the union’s BEIS (business department) group executive committee. The ballot closes on 12 December.
