Partnership agreement

The NASUWT teaching union has signed a social partnership agreement with the States of Jersey which aims to address a number of teacher concerns while avoiding industrial action.

A framework agreement for consensus working in Jersey sees both sides commit to finding new ways of working or seeking solutions on workload, employment and career development.

And while the NASUWT is committing to avoiding industrial action, the employer is committing to “basic guaranteed workforce protections to address current industrial concerns”.
