Wales public sector equality duty

Public authorities subject to the public sector equality duty in Wales must publish their annual report for 2019-20 by 31 March. This must set out:

• the steps it has taken to identify and collect relevant information;

• how it has used this information in meeting the three aims of the general duty (applying to named organisations listed in the Equality Act 2010);

• any reasons for not collecting relevant information;

• a statement on the effectiveness of its arrangements for identifying and collecting relevant information;

• progress towards fulfilling each of its equality objectives;

• a statement on the effectiveness of the steps that it has taken to fulfil each of its equality objectives; and

• specified employment information, including information on training and pay (unless it has already published this information elsewhere).

It may also include any other matter relevant to meeting the general duty and the specific duties (setting out the main requirements on listed authorities).
