The rich at play

Foxhunting, land ownership and the Countryside Alliance

Revolutions Per Minute, BCM Box 3328, London WC1N 3XX, 78 pages, £4.00, or £30.00 for 10 copies

This book - part research, part polemic - sets out the links between the Countryside Alliance and the foxhunting brigade. It shows that the claims by the Countryside Alliance to be interested in anything other than preserving foxhunting are hollow.

It also provides information on the extraordinary concentration of land ownership in Britain, with such gems as the fact that 0.28% of the population own 64% of the land.

Some details of the immensely wealthy individuals backing the Countryside Alliance are also given.
