Employment tribunal procedure - a user's guide to tribunals and appeals

Jeremy McMullen, Jennifer Eady and Rebecca Tuck, Legal Action Group, paperback, £30.00

This second edition of Employment tribunal procedure builds on the previous edition and covers all aspects of tribunal practice and procedure. It incorporates changes to the law introduced last year as well as changes brought about as a result of the Human Rights Act 1998.

The book makes extensive use of checklists, providing separate advice for employees, employers and advisers.

With new legal rules aimed at restricting access to employment tribunals it is important that those advising individuals on their cases have a good grasp of the law so that claims do not get dismissed just because the procedures have not been properly observed. This book is a useful tool to help ensure that this does not happen.
