LRD Executive Committee

At the annual general meeting of the Labour Research Department, held on Saturday 17 April, the result of the election for the Executive Committee for April 2004 to March 2005 was announced.

There had been 15 nominations for 16 places so all those named were elected without a ballot. The members (and nominating organisations) are: Sam Apter (Amicus London Region), David Ayrton (NUJ), Dave Baker (GPMU Kent branch), Gary Brisley (T&G), James Burke (UNISON Dover Branch), Helen Donoghue (AUT), Reginald Edwards (Milton Keynes TU & LP Partnership), Dave Gott (RMT), Dave Hayward (GPMU South East of England Branch), Gary Jones (CWU), Steve Lewis (POA), Richard Lynch (SERTUC), Mary Nicholas (Medical Research Council Staff Side), Simon Parry (Prospect) and Enrico Tortolano (PCS).

The honorary treasurer is Howard Marchant (Connect).
