Learning at Work Day
Learning at Work Day saw learning reps from the USDAW and Unite unions organise a day of learning-related activities in their canteen, on the theme of Healthy Living, for the hundreds of staff at the DHL Distribution Centre in Darlington. There was particular emphasis on promoting IT skills and skills for life as distance learning courses to help staff on variable shift patterns and those with caring responsibilities.
