UK mail: CWU recruits
UK MAIL saw a major union membership drive by communications union CWU over the summer in London and the Midlands. Reps handing our leaflets to workers at sites in Birmingham in July and London Docklands in August were joined in the recruitment blitz by CWU general secretary Billy Hayes.
