Redundancy milestones
Manufacturer Eaton Electric has agreed a procedure for employees made redundant six months or less short of their five-year “milestones”.
They now receive a monetary award as part of the package depending on their employment: £150 six months short of five and 10 years; £200; and £300 and £400 for six months short of 15, 20 years and 25 years respectively; and £500 for any five-year milestone above 25 years.
