Performance pay deals

Performance pay shaped the pay agenda in recent deals from the Labour Research Department’s Payline database.

Bosch Lawn & Garden, Stowmarket, applied a 1.25% increase, but is phasing in a performance-related scheme based on key business goals.

Achievement at Bosch will be measured using a scale from 0.0 to 2.0 with incremental steps of 0.1. A score of 1.0 pays out 50% of bonus and 2.0 full bonus. For 2013, bonus payments are up to 2% of pay, but for 2014 onwards will be up to 4%.
