Gender pay gap in Wales

Workers in Wales can now compare their pay with others thanks to a new online barometer set up by the Women adding value to the economy (WAVE) research team at Cardiff University.

The barometer allows employees to find average earnings for the work that they do; compare what men and women earn; see how jobs are gender segregated or gender balanced and see what they’d earn in a job usually undertaken by either men or women.
