Working time
The EAT has referred to the ECJ a case which questions whether it is possible to exclude all workers in the transport sector from the protection of the working time directive. The case - Bowden v Tuffnells Parcels Express [2000] - is unlikely to be heard at the ECJ for some time but raises an important issue over who is covered under the directive.
