Ken Cameron to retire
After 20 years at the helm Fire Brigades Union general secretary Ken Cameron will retire in June this year. His successor will be Andy Gilchrist, currently a national officer, who secured 12,709 votes against 10,665 for assistant general secretary Mike Fordham, in a 45% turnout.
