Learning at work

With unions undertaking unprecedented activity in the field of adult learning, and particularly in the workplace, LRD has brought out a timely negotiators' guide to learning at work opportunities and initiatives. Published on 15 June the booklet includes a survey of LRD's workplace contacts, charting the latest workplace developments in this area.

It looks at basic skills, IT training, individual learning accounts (ILAs) and how they work, the Union Learning Fund, workplace learning centres, training partnerships and union learning reps.
