Polish court workers reach agreement, but protests continue
A group of unions representing court workers reached agreement with the ministry of justice on a six-point document last month, which, among other things, introduces new motivation premia, worth 6% of the wage bill, increases the number of staff, and introduces new measures to tackle harassment and stress.
Court workers are among many public sector workers who have organised protests against a government-imposed wage freeze. However, while the settlement was sufficient to end the action of some workers, others are continuing with the protest.
