New guide on confronting racism

The LRD has released a new guide for trade unionists on tackling racism and inequality. It comes against a background of BAME people suffering disproportionately from Covid, and being less likely than white people to be employed in good, permanent jobs.

The new booklet sets out how race discrimination manifests itself in the work sphere, and provides real-life examples of actions that can be taken to combat it. It also covers how Covid has affected BAME workers and what unions and employers can do to combat its unequal impact on jobs.

The booklet costs £9.95 and can be ordered at the link below.
