TUC ad film contest

The TUC is offering £1,000 cash plus a day on a film set as top prize in its “60 second ad” contest. The challenge is to make an advert that encourages people to join a trade union.

The TUC says it wants people “to make an ad that entertains, one that you’re proud to share, one that people want to forward on to social networking sites”.

The TUC is also running a free advertising workshop on Friday 9 July, involving leading experts from the industry, for anyone thinking of entering.
