Unite and PCS stepping up cooperation
The Unite general union and PCS civil service union are to step up talks over cooperation, according to The Guardian newspaper.
PCS general secretary Mark Serwotka said his union’s annual conference this month will debate a motion on “deepening” the relationship with Unite.
However, he ruled out full merger talks for the foreseeable future.
