TUC demo

Trade unionists are being urged to join a TUC march and rally this month to “demand a new deal for working people”.

The TUC says a protest is needed because of low pay, widespread insecure work and broken public services. But it says: “We’re marching for the alternative” — for a growing economy with great jobs, a £10 per hour minimum wage and the right to a voice at work.

The demonstration will be held in London on 12 May.
