New digital platform for ET claims

A new platform is being rolled out as part of the project to update case management technology in the Employment Tribunals (ETs).

Currently, ET claims have to be started online or by completing a paper form, with tribunal systems being largely paper based.

This system will aim to eliminate paper use, with judges, representatives, individuals and Acas able to access documents digitally.

Claim forms and responses (ET1s and ET3s) will be lodged online, with additional guidance aiming to make processes more user-friendly.

The new system is being tested in Glasgow, Leeds, Bristol and Nottingham and a phased national roll-out is planned during 2023.
