Black trade unionists meet
The TUC Black Workers Conference, which is to be held in Southport on 14-16 April, will be addressed by the new chair of the Commission for Racial Equality, Gurbux Singh. The main theme of the conference will be institutional racism and the work of the TUC's Stephen Lawrence Task Group, set up in February. The conference is also likely to consider its role in TUC policy making.
