What pay are you entitled to if you have an injury at work and as a result are off work?

The fact that you are off work due to an injury does not mean that you have any better entitlement than you would otherwise have for any sickness absence, unless your contract provides better benefits if the injury is work-related. The only statutory entitlement employees have is the right to Statutory Sick Pay but this is paid at a flat rate and is not dependent on the nature of the illness.
