Statutory payments

Statutory payments will increased from 1 February to (current figures in brackets): redundancy pay £270 (£260); maximum unfair dismissal compensation £55,000 (£53,500); unfair dismissal - minimum for trade union, health and safety, pension trustees and employee reps reasons £3,600 (£3,500); minimum compensation for exclusion/expulsion from trade union £5,900 (£5,700); and guarantee pay in lay-offs (maximum five days) £17.80 a day (£17.30).
