Health & Safety Matters

Most of us are sick of work

More than half of workers believe they suffer ill health due to work, according to researchers from the Work Life Balance Centre.

Work was seen as the sole source of ill health by more than half of respondents (57%). For more than eight in 10, an inability to cope with the demands placed on them harmed their health at least some of the time. Six out of 10 felt their workloads to be out of control occasionally - and a fifth (19%) felt this way most or all of the time.
