Safety video for new workers

Safety training may seem boring to many young people starting out at work, but the advice it offers could help save lives. This was the message from the TUC as it launched a new safety video with employers' organisation the CBI earlier this month.

The safety bit: health and safety for new starters has been produced by award-winning health and safety video company Out-takes. The video follows recent TUC research which found that over a third of workers aged 15-24 had never had any health and safety training.

The safety bit urges young workers to make sure safety is a key part of their working lives and tells them not to be worried about asking too many questions about safe ways of working.

The safety bit video is 17 minutes long and is available for £95 to hire for two days or £145 to hire for five days. For further information contact Duncan Brown at Out-takes on 020 8289 2466.
