Employment protection payments

Employment protection payments have been increased for all claims on or after 1 February 2001. The following maximum rates apply (previous rates):

Redundancy pay max week's pay £240 (£230)

Unfair dismissal compensation £51,700 (£50,000)

Guarantee pay £16.70 (£16.10)

Minimum basic award (in trade union and certain other claims) £3,300 (£3,100)
