BA improves cabin crew offer again

A new offer to British Airways cabin crew tabled at the last minute before a second strike ballot was due to take place is now being voted on by Unite cabin crew members. The offer does not reinstate travel concessions and has not been recommended to staff by the union. The strike ballot has been postponed for the time being. Unite is also lobbying shareholders for support. The new terms offer a minimum allowance payment and protection from inferior contracts on the new fleet of planes.
