Benefit rates
New rates for statutory maternity, paternity and adoption pay come into force early next month. From 6 April, the new rate is £138.18 a week – a miserly 1% rise.
From the same date, the same percentage rise applies to statutory sick pay which will be paid at £87.55 a week.
