Handy tips on getting quality apprenticeships
The TUC has published a leaflet, Apprenticeship Levy — 15 useful negotiating tips, which can be used by reps and negotiators to help ensure that levy funds are used on quality apprenticeships.
The tips are grouped into three areas:
• fact finding, first conversations and planning;
• developing a plan; and
• making sure the apprenticeships are high quality.
UK employers with an annual pay bill of £3 million are required to pay the levy.
