Lone working guide


Public services union UNISON has published a revised version of its Working alone guide. 


The guide sets out employers’ legal duties and provides guidance on risk assessment, including dynamic risk assessment. Other issues covered include: physical and verbal aggression; use of technology; manual handling; isolated and remote areas; homeworking; visiting people in their homes; domiciliary and homecare workers; and driving.
