Disciplinary and grievance procedures

Advisory and conciliation service ACAS has published a draft code of practice on disciplinary and grievance procedures. This takes account of the forthcoming rights to be accompanied to disciplinary and grievance hearings. Unions have until 24 March to comment on the proposals, which are available on the ACAS website at www.acas.org.uk. The ACAS proposals will be examined in detail in the next issue of Bargaining Report, which will also include a new survey on disciplinary procedures.
