Weekly rates rose by 2.75% (annualised 3%) in an 11-month deal. Rates for 16- and 17-year- olds were consolidated into minimum rates at 70% and 85% of the 18- year-old rate. There are rates for adults aged 19 and under 22 and 22 and over. Higher rates apply to shifts starting at 5am, before 5am, and night shifts. The lowest weekly rate for a 22-year plus bakery operative/trainee is £159.90 for shifts starting at or after 6am.
