Pub managers want new law on violence

The NAHLM pub managers' union, part of the T&G general union, is to take its battle for more protection for those employed in the licensed trade to the House of Lords. NALHM wants an amendment to the Licensing Bill, now being considered by the Lords, to give specific protection to those who were the victims of violent assault on licensed premises.
