Gay partners gain
Gay partners of workers at Eurotunnel have won the right to the same travel concessions as heterosexual partners, thanks to negotiations by the T&G transport union. Partners are entitled to travel on the shuttle service to France for pst1 each way.
T&G regional officer Graham Murfet said: "This agreement is a victory for equal rights and represents the success of a partnership approach with a progressive thinking company."
