Six figure pay out for overwork stress
A financial adviser for Pearl Assurance has obtained six-figure compensation for work-related stress. The man, in his mid-thirties, routinely worked 75 hours a week as a financial adviser for several years with little support from his employer and suffered two nervous breakdowns as a result. Manufacturing and technical union Amicus-MSF supported his claim based on his second breakdown.
