“Well note culture”
Health secretary Alan Johnson wants to explore how GPs can help to change a “sick note culture into a well note culture” by setting out an individual’s capabilities rather than their incapacity.
The announcement was welcomed by the EEF manufacturing employers’ organisation, which has campaigned hard for the introduction of such a scheme.
